Visibility and lifecycle
How tournament lifecycle interacts with platform visibility review.
Independent state machines
| Lifecycle | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Configuration is incomplete. |
| Upcoming | Announced and scheduled. |
| Ongoing | Active operations are in progress. |
| Completed | Event concluded; results may remain public. |
| Cancelled | Event will not continue. |
| Visibility | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Invisible | No review pending; not approved for listing. |
| Requested | Submitted for platform review. |
| Approved | Discovery allowed when lifecycle also permits it. |
| Denied | Review rejected; resolve feedback before retrying. |
Approval does not force upcoming or ongoing, and ongoing does not bypass review.
Request checklist
Verify public identity, rules and links, registration and event times, eligibility, staff, format, privacy-compliant handling and a realistic plan. A rejected workflow may also cancel the tournament; correct the issue, restore the truthful lifecycle, and coordinate another request rather than duplicating the event.
