Effective Date: March 23, 2025

1. Introduction

Participation in BeatKhana! tournaments is a privilege, not a right. All players are expected to adhere to these rules to ensure a fair, competitive, and enjoyable environment. Failure to comply may result in penalties, including disqualification and bans from future tournaments.

2. Player Eligibility

  • Participation criteria are set by individual tournament organisers.
  • Players must have access to a VR setup and a valid Beat Saber account.
  • Players must not be banned from ScoreSaber nor BeatLeader during the tournament.
  • Use of multiple accounts(multi-accounting) to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

3. Fair Play and Conduct

  • All participants must compete honestly and in good faith.
  • Cheating, hacking, or the use of unauthorised mods that alter gameplay in any way is strictly forbidden.
  • Players must behave respectfully towards other participants, staff, and viewers. Toxicity, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated.
  • Players must follow all instructions from tournament staff.
  • Common sense may always be used to remove any player if necessary to maintain fairness.

4. Anti-Cheating Measures

  • Tournament Assistant (TA) is highly recommended to verify fair play.
  • Players must compete using their own registered accounts.
  • If a player is suspected of cheating, staff may investigate and issue immediate disqualification if necessary.
  • Replays and logs may be reviewed at any time to ensure competitive integrity.
    • Players are responsible for providing all of the log-files and replays recorded throughout the tournament.
    • Failiure to provide logs or replays by players can lead to disqualification and does not have to be tolerated by tournament organisers.

5. Map Pool and Gameplay Rules

  • The map pool is decided by the tournament’s organisers and map poolers.
  • Maps must not be biased towards specific players' skillsets.
  • Players must play on the provided maps without modification.
  • If technical issues occur, the tournament rules will dictate how the match is handled.

6. Scheduling and Attendance

  • Players must be on time for scheduled matches.
  • If a player cannot attend, they must notify the tournament organiser as early as possible.
  • No-shows or excessive delays may result in forfeiture.
  • Scheduling conflicts are resolved at the discretion of the tournament organiser.

7. Prizes and Rewards

  • BeatKhana! is not responsible for prize distribution.
  • Tournament organisers handle all prize distribution and any disputes regarding rewards.
  • If prize distribution is found to be unfair or fraudulent, the tournament may be taken down and the organiser may lose the ability to host future events.

8. Privacy and Data Security

  • Tournament organisers do not have direct access to player email addresses.
    • They may only view the domain suffix (e.g., @gmail.com, @yahoo.com) for organisational purposes.
  • Any attempt by an organiser to collect additional private information will result in immediate action from BeatKhana!.

9. Streaming and Content Use

  • Tournament matches may be streamed and recorded on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.
  • By participating, players agree that their gameplay and related content may be used for tournament promotion.
  • BeatKhana! reserves the right to remove any tournament-related content as necessary.

  • Any disputes between players or with tournament staff should be handled professionally and in accordance with tournament rules.
  • If a dispute is mishandled, BeatKhana! reserves the right to intervene or take down the tournament.
  • Appeals processes depend on the specific tournament but must be clearly communicated to participants.
