Qualifiers
TournamentAssistant binding, scoring formula, cutoff, conditions, team aggregation and score selection.
TournamentAssistant binding
Set the exact TA server name and TA qualifier name used by the real TournamentAssistant deployment. Player cutoff limits the qualified field. Test that submissions appear before announcing the qualifier.
Qualifier algorithm
Choose a preset or define the score formula. Controls include Algorithm name, Single score value, Force map winner to 1.00, Placeholder scores, Team map aggregate, and Team overall aggregate. Use only variables shown by the editor. Formula changes can reorder the field; record the old configuration before editing live results.
Score conditions
Conditions exclude submissions before standings and selection rules. Each has a label, variable, operator and value. Multiple conditions must match the published rules.
Score-selection rules
- Scope: across a player's maps, or within each team on each map.
- Action: keep the best N or discard N.
- Metric and order: property and direction used to rank scores.
- Count: number retained or discarded.
- Requirement: whether enough scores must exist before applying.
Rules are ordered. Test missing submissions, ties, too few scores, substitutes and unequal rosters. The public calculation summary should explain normalisation, exclusions, retained/discarded scores, aggregation, cutoff and tie handling in player language.
