Tournament settings
Every editable identity, branding, link, public-page and eligibility control in tournament settings.
Public identity
| Setting | Meaning and effect |
|---|---|
| Tournament name | Public display name. It is distinct from the stable identifier in URLs. |
| Tournament status | Lifecycle: draft, upcoming, ongoing, completed or cancelled. |
| Description | Public summary; state format, audience and essential dates clearly. |
| Rules | Tournament-specific rules. They supplement, and cannot override, platform policies. |
Branding and links
Image URL is compact artwork and Banner URL is wide header artwork. Paste an existing CDN URL or upload an image. Preview both crops. Public links include a durable Discord invite, Twitch channel name, and official website.
Tournament pages
Page toggles control which detail tabs are visible publicly. Hiding a page changes presentation; it does not delete the underlying data or revoke API access.
Registration window
Dates are edited in the organiser's local timezone. Publish a timezone in the rules. Accepted platform limits platforms, Country filter controls region, and Allowed email domains is a domain allow-list—not access to participant addresses.
Eligibility toggles
| Toggle | When enabled |
|---|---|
| Require BeatLeader | A linked BeatLeader identity is required. |
| Require Twitch | A linked Twitch identity is required. |
| Show Qualified Teams | Qualified entries may appear publicly. |
| Show Registered Teams | Registrations may appear publicly. |
| Require Discord server membership | Membership in the configured Discord is checked. |
| Allow solo registration | Individuals can register without a team. |
| Allow team registration | Captain/team registration is available. |
| Allow captains to play | The captain may occupy a playing roster slot. |
| Allow team modification | Captains may modify rosters, subject to limits and time. |
Team limits and deletion
Minimum team size, maximum team size, and maximum teams validate registration. Set them before opening. Deletion permanently removes the tournament and related data; use cancelled to preserve an event that will not run and completed for a concluded event.
