BeatKhana! General Regulations
Effective Date: March 31, 2025
1. Introduction
BeatKhana! provides a structured platform for hosting and participating in tournaments. To maintain the integrity of the platform, all participants, organisers, and staff must adhere to the following regulations. Failure to comply may result in penalties, including tournament removal, loss of hosting privileges, or bans from future events.
These regulations apply to all tournaments hosted on BeatKhana!, alongside the following policies:

2. Tournament Hosting Limitations
- Users are limited to hosting a maximum of two (2) tournaments at any given time.
- Tournaments must be taken seriously. They should not be created purely for fun or without proper planning.
- Tournament size is flexible; both small and large tournaments are allowed.
- Only affiliated organisers may host more than two tournaments.
- Affiliation applications are currently closed but may reopen in the future.
3. Staff Responsibilities
Tournament staff must follow all platform regulations to ensure fairness and professionalism.
- Defined Roles: Staff members should hold appropriate roles, including:
- Organiser
- Head Coordinator
- Coordinator
- Head Caster
- Caster
- Head Map Pooler
- Map Pooler
- Admin (for developers and support staff)
- Impartiality: Staff members must not show favouritism or bias towards any participant.
- Fair Map Pooling:
- Map pools must not be created to benefit a specific player’s skillset.
- BeatKhana! has the right to intervene if maps are deemed unfair.
- Dispute Handling: Staff must manage disputes fairly. If a tournament fails to handle issues properly, BeatKhana! may take it down.
- Feedback Management: Staff must not ignore or delete valid player feedback.
4. Participant Responsibilities
- Fair Play:
- Players must compete honestly and in good faith.
- Cheating or using unauthorised modifications is strictly prohibited.
- Players must use their own registered accounts.
- Respect and Conduct:
- Participants must treat staff, other players, and viewers with respect.
- Toxic behaviour, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated.
- Common sense may be used to remove players who disrupt the tournament.
- Match Attendance:
- Players must be on time for scheduled matches.
- Repeated no-shows may lead to removal from the tournament.
5. Tournament Structure and Rules
- Match settings and format are determined by the organiser.
- Technical Requirements: VR is required unless otherwise stated in the tournament description.
- Anti-Cheating Measures:
- Tournament Assistant (TA) is highly recommended.
- Replays and logs may be reviewed at any time.
- Streaming and Content:
- Tournaments may be streamed on YouTube and Twitch.
- By participating, players agree that their matches may be recorded and used for promotional purposes.
- BeatKhana! reserves the right to remove any tournament content if necessary.
6. Privacy and Data Security
- Tournament organisers do not have access to players' email addresses.
- They may only see the domain suffix (e.g., @gmail.com, @yahoo.com).
- Organisers must not attempt to collect additional personal data.
7. Sanctions and Enforcement
Violations of these regulations may result in:
- Tournament removal
- Loss of hosting privileges
- Disqualification or bans from future events
- Forfeiture of prizes if fraud is detected
- Permanent platform bans for severe infractions
8. Amendments
BeatKhana! reserves the right to update these regulations at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the official platform and Discord channels.
